Happy 2010! January meeting reminder

Reminder that the January planning meeting was moved to Wednesday, January 6 at 6pm at Vicki Ward's home. Hope to see you there!

Now that it's 2010, or nearly so, the reunion will be sooner than you think!

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Hood River Inn for June 4 & 5, 2010. If you call to make reservations tell them you're with WyEast Class of 1970 reunion.
Unfortunately HR is now a destination place so we weren't able to get a discount on the rooms but they are holding 10 rooms for us at regular rate $129 to $159 + tax.

If you are needing reservations, you should make them sooner than later. Hood River has a number of places to stay but can fill up rather quickly.

Reminder next meeting will be at Vicki Ward's house, January 6, 2010.

December meeting update

The reunion group met at Dixie's on Tuesday night, 12/1. We decided to reach out to some of our HRHS friends to see if they would like to join us on June 5, hopefully they will be able to join us at the January meeting. Lists of names and addresses were passed around to see how many we could confirm amongst the group of us and to see if we could get a more email addresses. There will be a reunion notice in the HR & The Dalles papers at Christmas time.

We will be reserving a block of rooms at one of the local establishments so that classmates having to travel to Hood River will be able to find a place to make a reservation.

Next meeting will be WEDNESDAY, January 6, 2010 at Vicki Ward's house. MTF...
