Reunion update for 2020 and September 2019 gathering

The date has been set for our 50th reunion.

September 11 & 12, 2020

Here is an update on our progress and plans so far.

We are working with an online reunion group - Reunion DB to help us with finding people, give us templates for the flyers, name tags, etc. and help with the pricing for the weekend.

We are trying to do everything online to save money. 

So far Saturday night dinner will be at Divots - Indian Creek Golf Course.

We are hoping to have two additional events: a tour of Wy'east on Saturday and Rich Cushman and Steve Bickford providing a tour of their wine production plant.  Please let us know if there is something else we can try to organize for the event.

Starting in January or February we will be looking for people to help with committees.  We have had several people tell us they are interested.  If you want to help please email us back.

If you are in Hood River at other times we have a class dinner at China Gorge on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 in the Tiger Lounge.  

Except September 10th 2019 gathering will be a potluck at Viento Tasting Room, Rich Cushman is hosting us at 5:30pm.

Planning has begun for our 50th reunion in September 2020!    
We have hired Reunion DB to help us find, notify and market the reunion.

We have started a closed group on Facebook for classmates/spouse/significant other to communicate and notify re the upcoming reunion.   We will keep both FB accounts Wyeast Last Class and this new group :  https://www.facebook.com/groups/wyeast70

The first step is to try to find as many emails as possible for contact with classmates.  We have a fair number of emails but not a complete list.  Please review the names at the following link and see if you can help.

Information is kept private and even one email address from you is VERY helpful!

Hopefully the snow will be gone by March 12 for the next gathering.
